Coin & Paper Magic Coin Trick

Conjuring tricks do not actually have to be complicated; some times even the most basic of tricks can be very wonderful with the perfect presentation and practice. You might need to use magic tricks as a vehicle for enthusing your cohorts, wife and children or significant other. I'll show you a few straightforward tricks that you can use to attain these objectives.

For the first effect you will have to find a coin of any denomination, a 5x5" piece of paper, some tape and a bandana. It's probably an useful idea to cadge the coin and even have it blotted with a felt-tip if you like. Place the paper onto the counter with the coin set at its midst. You now continue to crimp the paper down so the top edge comes down to the base leaving approx a 1" gap. Next off, fold up the left edge of the paper around to the back so that it meets the center and do the same thing to the right side of the parcel. Overlap half an inch of the top of the paper down so it appears you created a packet.

Let the spectators fondle the bundle to tetify that the coin is still inside. Bend/fold the top of the paper packet downward so that it seems to completely trap the coin inside the paper unit that you have created. Let your friends touch the package to confirm that the coin is still inside once again. Secretly let the coin slip out of the unit and into your hand. Use this hand to fetch the scarf from your pocket leaving the coin behind. Drape the neckerchief over the unit and let one of your observers hold the unit through the cloth. Say the magic words and then announce that the coin has evaporated from the paper parcel to finish and impress everyone who is watching. This type of magic trick is often seen performed by table top magicians at wedding functions.

For another trick using a coin and a scarf, secretly sew a small coin into the seam of a bandana. The coin is attached in close to the corner of the handkerchief. You also covertly hide a coin of the same denomination beneath your wrist watch. You then bum a coin of the same denomination. Hold the hanky by the corners covertly holding the coin under cover the cloth material in the same hand that bears the borrowed coin. Appear to set the borrowed coin under the hanky but covertly hold the one that is attached into the edging from the outer with the other hand. Have the bystander hold the coin through the cloth. They don't know that they are hugging the coin stitched into the cloth.

Say the magic words and yank the cloth away with a flourish to make public that the coin has disappeared altogether. You can now make known that the coin has reportedly voyaged by magic and has turned up under you wrist watch! Your comrades will give you great credence for being such a clever magician!

Just remember that magic is only baffling and inspiring to your onlookers if you do not let slip the secrets. You will not get any clout for being ingenious or exciting if you inform how your magical effects are done. Always keep the mystery to how you bring off you magic tricks to yourself and absolutely not tell or inform them to anyone.
